But, IMHO, the iPad is most of the ultimate solution. When they add an iDock with keyboard, disc, charger and cover they will have what I want, a laptop with a removable, self-sufficient tablet.

The user can detach the tablet and go to a meeting. Or, at home, to the easy chair, bed, or bathroom. Just as he or she would carry a book, newspaper or magazine to read – but now also to stream You Tube videos, surf favorite websites, do light email, etc.

Given endemic WiFi in the conference room, library, hotel lobby, home, coffee shop, etc. why lug around a complete laptop unless you need to do some heavy-duty keyboarding?
