I would probably have bought it anyway, but I often vote with my feet to avoid DRM encumbering my life. I was hanging out for the game, and installed XP beside my Ubuntu install in order to play it. I have not had any problems with the DRM, but the drm seems to use up 8.5mb in the Task Manager always. I might download another copy from Bittorrent if I have any problems. It only frustrates honest users who support your product. It's just old school thinking. Many people avoided buying the game because of the DRM and just went to torrent sites.
